Nuqat recieved rave reviews prior to the BIGGEST DESIGN CONFERENCE to ever be held in Kuwait. The 5 day conference in October discussed the topic of "Visual Pollution in The Arab World", lectures were given through a scope of multi-disciplinary speakers from the creative field. 12 speakers from all over the world including Holland, London, Lebanon, Dubai and Iran all particpated at the event, and consisted workshops and night entertainment.

workshops
Everyday after the lectures 2 worshops were conducted by our fine panel of conductors all in relation to the topic discussed. On the exception of the third day where three workshops were held in response to the high demand of participants. All workshops were capped in full capacity.

The first two nights had local film screenings. An outdoor screening of the movie "Amreeka" produced by Sh. Zain Al Sabah was enjoyed under the stars.
The second night was the PREMIERE of a local documentary entitled "Losing Ahmed" directed and produced by
Abdullah Boushihri.
A closing ceremony included a local flavor of the Kuwaiti traditional band "Al Ma'ayoof"
